 I've always been a huge fan of the Indy movies, ever since watching Raiders of the Lost Ark as a boy I was blown away. The same as Star Wars a few years earlier, but for me Raiders was better and stayed with me later. Years later, the movies are as fantastic as ever and as Indy fans we are all excited about Indiana Jones 4 on the horizon. After getting on the net a few years back, I was happy to find a large community of fans like me with people painting and writing stories about Indiana Jones. Drawing being one of my few natural talents, I wanted in! I'm just a fan, drawing is my hobby and I wanted to contribute something to this body of work and make my mark on Indy's world. I've not drawn a comic strip before (or lettered) so gimme a break if it gets patchy! Greg Hildebrandt Jr.'s Indiana Jones and the Staff of Moses script is the best I've read. It's full of action, humor and characters (new and old) that we have come to expect in an Indiana Jones adventure. But for me, Indy says and deals with action and situations the way you know Indiana Jones would if this were a movie.
I started to adapt the script as a comic, and have been as faithful as possible to Greg's fantastic story. I intended to serialize the story into seven pages a fortnight (or weekly if things change) with 28 pages making up a chapter. Each one having a painted cover, with for chapters making up the story (that's 118 pages in total). Any and all feedback is welcome, so feel free to contact me at jd001h8243@blueyonder.co.uk.
