"So, once again, Jones, what what was briefly yours is now mine." - Rene Belloq

Raiders of the Lost Ark.  It was the return of the great adventure, and the film that started it all. On that fateful Juen 12th, 1981, who would have thought that Indiana Jones would become the masterpeice it is today?  The film that was originally intended as a B-movie, in homage to the Saturday morning adventure serials that Steven Spielberg and George Lucas grew up on.  But Raiders became so much more.  It introduced the world to the man with the hat and gave us a new name for adventure - Indiana Jones.   Raiders of the Lost Ark has endured the test of time as has Indy, producing two sequels and dreams of a third.  It is safe to say that Raiders is just as popular as it was over twenty years ago when Indy first graced the screen.  Indeed, Raiders has proven itself as a film worthy enough to be considered one of the greatest motion pictures of all time.  In this section you will find the most comprehensive resource for information on Raiders of the Lost Ark, ranging from reviews to deleted scenes and from photo galleries to cast and crew information, you'll find it all right here.
