In March of 1992, George Lucas along with Lucasfilm and ABC first released The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles TV show to audiences accross America.  The show centered around the life of Indiana Jones before the motion pictures.  As the show began, we were introduced to a 10-year-old Indy (played by Corey Carrier) and then moved on to Indy at age 16 (played by Sean Patrick Flanery).  Throughout the Young Indy Chronicles, Indy interacted with many interesting characters, dangerous villains and a number of historical figures, which included Howard Carter, General George Patton, Teddy Roosevelt, Albert Schweitzer and T.E. Lawrence.  While the Young Indy could never quite recapture the magic of the original Indiana Jones films, it did give us a look at the life of Indiana Jones before he became a man.  Then in 1999 with the re-release of the Indiana Jones trilogy on VHS, 12 chapters of the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles were released on VHS.  Lucasfilm is currently hard at work producing a complte Young Indy DVD collection, due out sometime in 2007.
