The Story

In February of 2004, it was announced that producer Scott Rudin (Addams Family, School of Rock) purchased the rights to the untitled life story of the three Mississippi kids who remade Raiders of the Lost Ark over the course of 7 years.  The film will chronicle the childhood adventures of Chris Strompolos, Eric Zala and Jayson Lamb on their ultimate quest to remake the greatest film in cinema history.

The project is in the early stages of pre-production, but the trio of filmmakers have signed the deal to create a movie about them making their own movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation.  Production is set to begin in 2005 and is set for a 2005 to 2006 release date.  Paramount Studios is currently in the process of signing an A-list writer to pen the script.  For the latest on the Adaptation bio-pic, stay tuned to TIE.c for exclusive updates!
