Comic Contest Results
Here we feature the six finalist and their comic contest entries that we received. All six entries were very worthy of the prize and I must say, we have some very funny and talented fans. Congratulations to the winner and a big thanks to all who entered!
The Winner
This is a very funny Indiana Jones/Simpsons parody which features 'Indiana Homer' recovering the Forbidden Doughnut. The comic, of course, parodies the famous opening sequence from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Five Finalist
"Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?" This digitally created comic shows the Well of Souls scene where Indy is lowered into the pit and slips, only to come face to face with his greatest fear.
This is comic was created digitally using MS Paint. The comic's premise is simple: has a stick figure Indiana Jones swinging across a chasm with his whip and then out of nowhere: a giant rolling boulder slams into Indy at high speed.
This is another digitally created comic that shows a possibel outcome of what might happen if two blockbuster franchises collide: indeed, the artist makes their point.
This comic was also created with MS Paint. It's simple and to the point, but the message is clear and somewhat frightening. This is a comic about what would happen if Lucas got carried away with Indy 4...
This is a very funny digital comic by Nic Candito, which shows what would have happened if Indy and Marion hadn't made it out of the Well of Souls in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
