Iskenderun Trainstation

This deleted scene takes place right after escaping the Castle, and just before Indy and Henry's ride with Sallah.  The scene shows Indy and Henry walking through the train station in Iskenderun. The reason for this cut was most likely time issues.

Entering the Canyon

Right after the tank fight sequence and just before Indy, Henry, Sallah and Marcus arrive at the Grail temple, we see Indy and crew entering the Canyon of the Crescent moon on horseback via a small slope.

Nazi Demolition

This deleted scene takes place right after the tank chase sequence, as well as the previous deleted scene where Indy and friends first enter the canyon.  This scene shows Indy and company observing the Nazis dynamiting the entrance of the Grail Temple.  This scene was also cut due to time constraints.

The Word of God

Right after the first Grail challenge (the Breath of God), Indy faces the second challenge - the Word of God. In the original version of this scene, instead of falling though the "J" and into a large open pit, Indy steps into a nest of tarantulas. A photo from this deleted scene can be viewed on the back of the Last Crusade Laserdisc sleeve as well as the Marvel comic adaptation.
